Stretch marks are linear skin lesions also call “striae distensae” or atrophic striae, which is caused by damage of the dermic (skin) connective tissue and occurs in several stages.

The Initial Phase or Inflamed Phase (Striae Rubrae) is defined by the red or purple color of the skin. During this phase, the skin is elastic thin containing stretch fibres. This phase can be reversed. Usage of Rilastil Intensive Stretch Mark Cream can reverse this phase.

The Final Phase or Cicatricial Phase (Striae Albae) is defined by weak pink and pearly color of the skin. During this phase, the process of atrophy starts, and the skin demonstrates strias-like folds covered by thin and pleated skin with a pearly color. This phase is generally irreversible. However, regular usage of Rilastil Intensive Stretch Mark Cream will minimize the appearance of the strias-like folds.

ACTIVE COMPONENTS

ELASTICITY:

• Essential Branched Amino Acids (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine)
  Encourages the synthesis of elastic fibers and collagen. Essential in providing the skin plasticity and resistance to the skin.
• Hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans,
  Natural component of the connective tissues surrounding cells and serves to provide strength and resilience to the skin layers.
• Arginine
  An amino acid component of protein, acts independently to encourage collagen production and increase skin elasticity and possess normalizing actions.

VITAMIN FACTORS:

• Panthenol (Vitamin B5)
  Penetrates into lower skin layers and helps to maintains natural skin moisture balance. Helps to promotes the healing properties of the skin.

MOISTURIZING AND NOURISHING FACTORS:

• Sodium PCA:
  Found naturally on the skin and represents about 12% of the natural moisturizing factor in the skin. Sodium PCA acts as a moisture reserve helping to keep moisture in the skin. Sodium PCA is easily absorbed and prevents dehydration.
• Oryza Sativa Bran Oil (Rice Bran Oil):
  It has a high content of γ- oryzanol as skin natural protector. Ensure skin softness and elasticity. It contains a balanced mixture of essential unsaturated fatty acids.
• Allantoin:
  Relieves skin irritation and promote skin and tissue formation.
• Glycine soja oil (Soybean oil):
  Increases the moisture retention capacity and helps restore the skin’s physical capacity.

  Promotes microcirculation and absorption in the skin dermal layers.

CLINICAL STUDY

 

The image is a computer three-dimensional rendering of stretch marks at the beginning of the study. The yellow indicates the depth of the stretch marks, during the Cicatricial Phase.

 

 

 

 

After the 60 day study with Rilastil treatment, a visible reduction in stretch marks contours as shown, with significant benefits observed in the depth, width and length of the stretch marks.

 

 

 

 

 

Clinical results showed a reduction of length, width and depth of recent stretch marks in the Cicatricial Phase with regular use of the Rilastil Intensive Stretch Mark Cream.
